Please fill out the following questions as completely as possible. Thank you!
Is there anything that your logo is required to have or not have (ex. Legal disclosures? A specific color? A limit to the number of colors? A certain size? Pictures or text?)
Please describe the "style" you are aiming for. Use words like cutting edge, modern, old fashioned, fun, high tech, warm and fuzzy, curvy, straight lined, cartooned, conservative, professional, etc...
Do you prefer a design with bright color contrasts or do you prefer a more subdued logo? (Bright colors make your logo stand out and are often more memorable. More subdued color schemes tend to appear more traditional and arguably more proffessional.)
Do you have a color preference? What colors do you love or hate? Please indicate if your answers are suggestions or requirements.
Is there text that must be incorporated into your logo? If you have a tag-line (or any other text) that you want included in the design, please specify that as well. If you have ideas (as opposed to requirements) for text, please also note them here.
Do you want a graphical element to your logo or do you prefer stylized text? (For example, IBM and Microsoft logos are stylized text. Nike and Apple use graphical elements.)
If you prefer a graphical component, do you want a non-symbolic shape or do you want a picture of something? (Nike's "swoosh" is a non-symbolic shape that represents movement, Apple's "apple" is obviously symbolic of an apple.) if you want something that is recognizable, please give us some ideas. We know that is a tough question (depending on your business), but you know best what shape represents your business.
Do you have a font preferance? Serif (Times New Roman and Courier) or San-Serif (Arial and Tahoma)? (It's okay not to have a preference here.) if you know of a specific font you want us to work with, please indicate it here. If you need ideas check out www.fonts.com
Finally, the best way to give us an idea as to what you like is to show us examples. Tell us about logos you like AND dislike and WHY. If you don't know where to find a bunch of logos, try Google image search. Go to images.google.com and search for "logo" or for more specific search, search for "logo" and words related to your industry. Email links or samples to info@greenbirdmedia.com.
Can you think of anything else we should know about you or your business or your requirements before we begin? Please list any thoughts or ideas that you have about your company and it's image.
