Phase I: Needs Analysis
Our first step together is understanding what you need and what we can deliver. This includes setting goals to finish the project on-time and on-budget. We gather information of your current market position and where you wish to be in the future.
Phase II: Research
We need to study your business, your competition and your target audience. This information helps us develop insights to provide a competitive edge: differentiation. A clearly articulated website and brand increases profits and produces loyal customers. This approach helps keep your site free of clutter that distorts the focus of your website’s objectives.
Phase III: Client Briefing
After learning about your needs and investigating the options, we can determine the scope of work. We can implement the project in phases as clients often have budget and time objectives. This allows us to have a long-term game plan to grow your business.
Phase IV: Design and Development
With a good plan in place, we design a website that integrates the ideas and strategies we’ve uncovered. Along with the copy-writer, designer and developer, we work together to produce a meaningful experience and well-functioning site for your visitors.
Phase V: Beta Testing & Launching
As development comes to a close, the website is beta tested and then launched.
Phase VI: After Completion
Once the site is up and running it is important to keep the content fresh and the look and feel of the site current over time. You may choose to implement some of the following strategies:
- Marketing collateral to support the website
- Implement an eNewsletter campaign
- Search Engine Optimization
- Press Releases
- Web Advertising: Links, directories, pay-per-click
Large-scale Custom Projects
Although 75% of our projects require minimal team-building beyond our office, sometimes we have clients whose projects require a team structure. Depending on the size and scope of the project, a team may look similar to the diagram below:
