The Grant Humanitarian Foundation’s mission is to care for America’s military men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. To help further this noble cause, Green Bird Media created an online community enabling members of the military to receive support from other veterans and workers from The Foundation.
Developed on the powerful Drupal Content Management System, CombatRelief.org can be managed by employees of The Grant Foundation in whatever manner is most convenient for them. This allows for clear and open communication with website visitors, as employees don't rely on a web design firm when updating news and information.
The website features an inspiring visual design, and encourages communication through the use of a contact form and newsletter signup form. Visitors learn about current programs designed to support combat veterans, including the "Phones for Soldiers" campaign, "Veterans Helping Veterans," and programs designed to support children and families of military men and women.
