We recently launched a website for actor & dancer Michael Apuzzo. The site contains videos of his acting experience as well as a photo gallery with headshots & action shots, a bio, resume, and a schedule of his upcoming events. Michael was in desperate need of a CMS for his website. He is now able to keep his resume up to date without calling on a web designer to update the html files. Michael is also able to upload a PDF version of his resume as often as he wishes, and he can easily keep his headshots up-to-date using the file and image uploader we installed in the admin interface.
We installed a blog feature so Michael has a feed with his most recent activity, he can enter a blog post and it keeps his website content fresh and dynamic. This is a great feature for a performer, since he is able to control the content himself, he can keep potential employers in the loop about his most recent work. That way it doesn’t look like he’s been out of work for a year, just because his web designer hasn’t had a chance to upload new content to the site.
As we generally work on non profit web design and church web design. We were enthusiastic about working with Michael, as we always enjoy expanding our horizons and working with new types of clients. Michael’s website is our first web design for an actor, and we had a great time designing this sleek website.
